Now that you have heard your classmates' ideas about the schools of 2050, please post a response here. Which extrapolations seem the most likely to come true? What was the most interesting idea you heard? Overall, which seemed to be the most prevalent ideas?
I really liked the finger print scanner idea for the locker. It does seem like it could actually be possible in the next 40 years. Hopefully the technology will advance even more so that the scanners will work perfectly and quickly.
ReplyDeletei thought that some of these ideas were really good like the smartboards that teach us instead of a teacher and i think that the scanners of kids coming to class seems very realistic for the future.
ReplyDeleteI found it interesting to think about what will happen in the future. I liked the idea of having personal computers in each desk. I liked this so much because i could see how practical it would be you could take tests on it, you could display a power points and many other things.
ReplyDeleteI liked the thought about just plugging in your brain to your desk, that way it would be easier to learn. Also the sports goggles seemed to be very popular. It would be interesting to see if something like that happens in forty years.
ReplyDeleteI thought it was interesting how almost all of the groups thought that there would be touch screen computer desks. I also noticed how alot of groups thought that there would be moving hallways.
ReplyDeleteAll of the ideas were good and I wish some of them were true now but other I like for it to never happen like the one of the shocking watch, that shock the student if they are not paying attention. Also some of the ideas were really out their and I wonder if it would really happen in 40 years and others I could see happening in the near future.
ReplyDeleteI thought the locker finger print scaners was a great idea. I think all the aspects of school that were disscussed are all possible, maybe not in 40 years but later on they will be possible.
ReplyDeleteThe most common ideas were the computer screens on the desks, no teachers, and everything will be done technologically. I believe each of these are very likely to come true due to the advances in technology over the past fifteen years, and the fact that everyone thought it may be possible.
